Members
The number of Trustees shall be seven and shall be appointed by City Council. Two members of the City Council shall always serve as Trustees and his or her term(s) shall be coextensive with their terms on the governing body of the Beneficiary. The remaining five Trustee members shall be filled by Non-Council citizens.
Member's (Citizens) terms are set to expire in 3 years. This Authority meets monthly. The Duties are in the Code Book or Trust Indentures.
The Economic Development Authority’s Trust Indenture does not have an attendance requirement but does state that the City Council may remove any Trustee at any time with or without cause.
By Resolution the Council/Mayor totaling 5 replaced any members remaining on the board.
